The NDC communication representative, George Justice Arthur has chastised the president, saying, he contributes to Neocolonialism and Imperialism in Ghana.
His comments came after the President during a Reparation and Racial Healing Summit on Monday called for an apology and compensation to Africa and the African diaspora for the acts of slavery against it.
According to Arthur, though it is a good call, he is surprised to hear it from the President at moments like this, in the country.
Pan-Africans and Ghanaians had faith in Nana Akuffo Addo to turn the fortunes of Ghana around with the ‘Ghana Beyond Aid’ but he disappointed citizens by going back on his word to involve the IMF, he lamented.
The NDC Pundit hinted that the NDC never promised Ghanaians of going to the IMF but the Akufo-Addo and the NPP did, hence a failure to its citizens.
He stressed that, Ghana should borrow from other African countries than seeking help beyond its African countries.
