2022 Commonwealth Games; Benjamin Azamati, Sean Sarfo Antwi Qualifies for semi-finals

Ghana’s 100meter record holder, Benjamin Azamati, won Heat 7 of the men’s 100meter race while Sean Sarfo-Antwi also finished fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Azamati, despite the poor start to the race, finished first with a time of 10.19seconds to advance to the semi-finals of the 100meters race.

Sean Sarfo-Antwi also secured a semi-final place after running 10.33seconds in Heat 10.

This means both Sean and Azamati have qualified for the Men’s 100m semi-finals.
