AdoaTV visits Johannesburg: Breaks ground for partnership with SABC

A delegation from Adoa Media Consult (AdoaTV) led by the Director Mr. Reginald Ansah Adjaye has met the C.E.O Mr. Madoda Mxakwe and Management Team of South African Broadcasting Corporation(SABC), South Africa’s biggest broadcasting hub on future partnership, mentorship, and content syndication.

SABC’s management team made up of Group CEO Madoda Mxakwe,
Group Executive: (Radio) Nada Wotshela, Group Executive: (News) Phathiswa Magopeni, Head of Communications and Stakeholder Relations: Ndileka Cola , Julian Govender: Sales Luzuko Koti: Business Manager Channel Africa, GE Video Entertainment: Merlin Naicker and Karabo Rangwetsi: Programmes Manager Channel Africa met the team from AdoaTV who were taken through a tour within South African Broadcasting Corporation’s Radio and Television sections prior to engagements on the way forward.

After cordial and formal conversations, a Memorandum of Understanding is expected to be issued between both media firms to kick start a great amalgamation.

Part of the MoU would require correspondence from AdoaTV presenting features on Ghana and the West African sub-region and vice versa. The MoU will also see to the syndication of contents from both Channels where businesses alike will reach target Audiences in the rest of the continent.

The delegation from AdoaTV includes Mr. Cyril Jones-Okai Deputy Director of the channel in Charge of Administration/ Marketing and Finance, Mr. Reginald Addy – Head of Social Media, Mr. Samuel Kusi Appiah – Head of Events and Sports, Mr Chris-Marion Amenuku – Technical Department, Mr. Magnus Thompson – Social Media Department and Mr. Reginald Robertson – Programmes Manager.

The team is embarking on a 10day working visit to Johannesburg aside the engagement with SABC, also to other advertisements firms, businesses and tourists for further collaborations.
