Over 400 protestors hit the street on #fixthecountry demo

#FixTheCountry conveners and protestors have hit the streets of Accra today to demand that government addresses economic and social challenges facing the country.

The protestors clad in red, gold, green and black outfits, are holding placards with inscriptions stating “Stop the cathedral and use the proceeds to build hospitals, schools, roads and comfortable houses for the police”, “Ghanaians deserve better.”

The protest will be climaxed at the Black Star Square in Accra.

Meanwhile, the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP), Dr George Akuffo Dampare, has pledged to provide maximum security during the #FixTheCountry protest.
