Head of mission at Peru Embassy visits Bishop Torto

The Head of Mission Embassy of Peru in Ghana Abel Antonio Càrdenas Tuppia has paid a courtesy call on the Lord Bishop of Accra Rt. Rev.Dr Daniel Sylvanus Mensah Torto.

The visit was as part of Peru’s 200 years of independence celebration.

In a conversation, the Lord Bishop shared with Albel Antonio how the church is surviving the covid-19 pandemic

The Lord Bishop Rt Rev Dr Daniel Sylvanus Mensah Torto disclosed to Albe Antonio that
“Not being able not to meet together has weakened our financial base of the Church but the church is entering into the agricultural sector and other avenues
To be able to run the affairs of the church”

Abel Antonio then ask if there is any future for the virtual church and it’s
Impact.

On 28th July 2021, Peru is marked 200 years of independence from Spain in 1821.
