Some angry youth are demanding justice for the murdered social media activist. Ibrahim Mohammed went on a rampage in Ejura.
The said angry youth burnt tires on some major streets as a sign of anger following the death of their colleague. They want justice to be served immediately to serve as a deterrent to other criminals in the town.
Meanwhile, FixTheCountry conveners are demanding justice following the death of a social activist in Ejura in the Ashanti Region. In a press release, the Conveners alleged that the deceased had been receiving threats from alleged bodyguards of the Ejura Sekyeredumase MCE who claimed Mr. Mohammed’s activities on social media were making the government unpopular in the area.
The Statement added, “Instead of cautioning those individuals to refrain from intimidating and threatening Kaaka in the exercise of his constitutional rights as a citizen, the police rather issued Kaaka with a warning.”
A 40-year-old man was attacked by an angry mob at Ejura Saturday dawn for asking for a better Ejura. The deceased was attacked by two assailants yet to be arrested by the Police. He was repeatedly struck in the head with objects until he lost consciousness.
