A bridge serving as the only means through which people of Olebu and Abease commute is currently posing as a threat to residence who ply it. Users at Ablekuma Olebu feel their lives are in peril because of the condition of the bridge.
According to the residents, the situation of the bridge had been lingering on for several months without concern.
The bridge appears to have been damaged by floods and deep potholes, thereby leaving it in a weak state.

Assembly member for Ablekuma-Olebu Electoral area, George Adu Darko, said, he has personally visited the area to access the state of the bridge. According to him, he has informed engineers and contractors of the project and has informed them about the situation and are expected to salvage the situation within this week.
