Multiple award-winning Ghanaian dubbed movie producer and director, Stephen Lovely Aryee well known as Director Spanner in the Entertainment industry, has lamented over the loss of interest in the patronize of Ghanaian locally made movies.
Speaking to Adoa TV’s Entertainment Desk, Director Spanner, revealed that bad content has flooded our screens from various production creators, which lacks creativity, innovation, and originality hence the fall of the Ghana movie industry and rampant telecasting of Telenovelas.
Director Spanner has over the years warned the hearts of many with his multiple award-winning movies like “Tears of Eduala, Metanfo Madafo, Ofie, Gangantua Soldiers, Players Series, Life in East Legon” and many other thrilling cinematic arts.
Director Spanner further suggested pragmatic remedial procedures that could revive the movie, stating that, movie production houses should be cautiously vigilant on contents they create because a movie is shown to inculcate moral values expected to be exhibited in society, also various television platforms should adhere to the fundamental principles of movie production which are to create awareness, educate and entertain the masses.
