The national chapters Committee of Hearts of Oak earlier today held a press briefing at the club secretariat demanding for roundtable discussion with the board of directors upon the recent happenings at the club
The fans mostly clad in red are demanding the dismissal of Alhaji Akambi as a board member of the club.
They are also demanding reconstitution of the club’s board of directors and an emergency meeting with Togbe Afede, the club’s board chairman.
The NCC also wants the club to place an embargo on the appointment of foreign coaches and if their conditions are not met they will stage a demonstration against the club on 28 February.
Accra giants Hearts of Oak and Serbian coach Kosta Papic have gone their separate ways, the club announced.
The two parties part company after barely three months of association. It was the coach’s second stint with Hearts, the first spell in 2009 also ending unceremoniously.
The supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak are not happy about the recent happenings at the club and are planning a massive demonstration against the club’s board of directors following recent mass resignation of members of the club’s technical staff.
The supporters who are outraged by decisions of the board that has affected the performance of the club says they want answers to several questions from the board
The demonstration, slated for February 28 will coincide with the super clash game against Asante Kotoko is to tell the management and board of their unhappiness with recent decisions that has led to the image of the club sinking to the abyss.
The supporters also want the board to respect structures at the club, and to allow the various department work independently.
Addressing the media was the National Chapters Committee chairman who said they want the board to organised an AGM Meeting as well as reconstituting the board of directors and allow the various department of the club to work independently.
