The ban on concerts has affected musicians – Musiga

The acting president of MUSIGA, Mr Bessa Simon have revealed that the ban on musical concerts have affected musicians in Ghana and the creative art industry. he disclosed this in an interview with Adoa TV’s reporter Tinalove on 1st February 2021.

According to Mr Bessa Simon, about 97% of musicians have cancelled their musical tours in 2020. Again the virtual concerts and digital platforms have not been beneficial to musicians in Ghana because Ghanaians don’t understand how the streaming platforms work.

Therefore it’s been very difficult for the people in the creative art industry to survive. He however, adviced the general public to adhere to the Covid 19 protocols to decrease the spread of Covid-19.
