The University of Cape Coast has sanctioned an indefinite closure of its basic school sections.
According to Authorities, the closure will affect pupils from the Kindergarten and that of the junior high.
In a said statement, the authorities indicated that the closure was as a result of a strike embarked by Senior Staff Associations of Universities in the country. The closure is set to begin Today Monday 25th January 2021.
Meanwhile, in other issues, Data bank has also announced a Temporal Shutdown of its Head Office starting today 25th January 2021.
According to the Banks directives, the closure was necessitated as a result of a Staff Member been tested positive for COVID-19. In a statement, the bank indicated that it deems it necessary for the closure as the number of COVID-19 cases keeps increasing so as to protect their clients and staff members.
The statement further reads giving indications that its 18 other branches will be opened within the period to the public.
