Every Media house wants the best of news in situations, occasions, and good reportage in its coverages. Excellence they say is the gradual result of always striving to do better and to become excellent means to pay attention to every detail.

One of the Biggest events that gain focus in every country is Elections, hence it is one of the most authentic news every media house will strive to cover. The extent of an impact on the world depends on the size of devotion to excellence.

Adoa Media consult through its devotion to excellence had its second-most prudent general Election coverage in both presidential and parliamentary in the just ended 2020 election. In order to bring the best to our viewers as our Slogan reads: “Bringing Good Things to Live”, a team of Intelligent reporters and regional correspondents were mandated to lead the Elections Coverage with a name dubbed “ElectionZone”


Ahead of preparation for the 2020 Polls, workshops were organized to equip the entire staff on election coverage. The first workshop was headed by the News Head, Naa Afaley on 31st October 2020 which was geared at educating the reporters on basis tips at polling stations.

Productivity they say is never an accident, it is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.  

Hence, subsequent workshops were organized on 13th November and that of 31st November. From Technical to MCR to Social Media so as to get a perfect input on AIR. “Social Media is a never-ending experiment, because the users, how they use it, and the functionality provided by social networks is always in flux” hence Our (AdoaTV) Team of Social Media (Anfred, Daniel Yaw. Ampofo) through the Power of Technology made use of Features such as the Zoom, V-Mix, Facebook-Room so as to get all necessary data and reportage from all AdoaTV correspondents.

Special Voting:

On the day of Special Voting, our team of reporters were centered at various polling stations across the Greater Accra Region likewise Regional Correspondents, whereas presenters on the ELECTIONZONE team from the studio had several interviews with the team of reporters on the field for data, base on happenings in their various constituencies because every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it.

Speed is everything. It is the indispensable ingredient to competitiveness.

7th December finally approached, a day through which the best way of predicting the future is by creating it by loyal citizens of the country, on December 7th, our team of regional correspondents stationed, included Oti Region 1, Savannah Region 2, Volta Region 1, Eastern Region 1, Upper East 1, Ashanti region (Obuasi) 1, Central Region 2 and Western North 1. These teams from other regions teamed up with our team in the Greater Accra Region to make the coverage reach the doorstep of our audiences.

However, coming to the Capital Accra, Our reporters were stationed at Tema West/ kpone katamanso, Okaikoi North, Ayawaso Central, Awutu Senya East, Adentan, Bortianor Ngleshie Amanfrom, Ledzokuku/ krowor, Ayawaso East, Ayawaso North, Ablekuma South, Ablekuma Central, Odododiodoo, Abokobi-Madina, Ayawaso West Wuogon, Okaikoi South, Weija Gbawe, Ashiaman, Amasaman, Ablekuma North, Klottey korle, Anyaa Sowtutuom, La Dadekotopon, Dome Kwabenya, and Trobu.

Moreover, our reporters covered from the day of Elections to the declaration on December 9, 2020.

Back in the studio, the Technical and Camera team headed by  Daniel Lamptey and Ms Elizabeth Annor Lamptey ensured that production is at its peak. The creative art department ensured an edited work on all videos and pictures from the field. At the end of the day, division of labor played an integral role in making our reportage a success. Together as a team, we made a history of covering the 2020 General Election and bringing relevant and credible analysis to our viewers.
