Nii Lante Vanderpuye retains Odododiodio seat

The NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Edwin Nii Lante Vanderpuye has retained the Odododiodioo parliamentary seat by polling 41,446 votes out of the total ballots cast during the 2020 General Elections.

This results comprises of the total ballots cast from all the 258 polling stations in the Odododiodoo Constituency.

Whereas his opponent Nii Lante Bannerman trailed behind with 34,887 votes.

Thus the newly-elected Nii Lante Vanderpuye who was arrested on Tuesday dawn and later granted bail, beat his closest opponent by over 6,000 votes.

Nii Lante Vanderpuye earlier on, had predicted with confidence his victory in the 2020 general election.
