Haruna Iddrisu retains Tamale South

Minority Leader Haruna Iddrisu has retained the Tamale South seat.

He got 69,307 votes to secure another four-year term in Parliament. Mr Iddrisu beat the governing New Patriotic Party’s Yakubu Yussif, who polled 23, 417.

Meanwhile, he urges Military service to be loyal to the country because they have won a majority in Parliament and that of the presidential.

In a press briefing, he said, they will not accept any intimidation that will occur in the declaration of the results. “Let the pin sheet speaks in every polling station”.
