Deputy Defence Minister Major (rtd) Derek Oduro has lost the Nkoranza North seat.

The two main candidates in the race at the Nkoranza North constituency is Incumbent MP Major (rtd) Derek Oduro of NPP and Mr Joseph Kwasi Mensah of NDC.

Mr Mensah polled 15,124 votes while the incumbent polled 10,978 votes.

Meanwhile, with the Presidential poll, Nana Addo polled 13,314 while the NDC’s presidential candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama, polled 11,928.

Adoanewsonline.com cited an image online showing a political banner of a “Skirt and Blouse vote in the Nkoranza North constituency.

Prior to the 2020 election, Adoanewsonline.com conducted a survey by speaking with the electorates on “skirt and Blouse voting, whether or not December 7th election will go “Skirt and Blouse”. On that said, issue security expert and political analyst Rev. Thomas Kusi Appiah hinted on a “skirt and blouse voting on December 7th.
