Okaikoi south joins in the special voting exercise

The long-awaited voting exercise organized by the Electoral Commission that tends to allow centred group of people exercise their franchise earlier due to national duties on Dec. 7, dubbed SPECIAL VOTING kicks off yesterday and the Okaikoi South Constituency has duly participated.

A total of 1077 electorates were expected to cast their votes in the constituency. Adoa TV news happens to be at the Kaneshie Police Station polling centre of the Okaikoi South Constituency saw a number of electorates exercise their political right at the centre.

The polling centre expects a total number of 1077 electorates in the constituency to take part in the special voting exercise. The centre has two polling stations, (A and B) where centre A, expects 538 turns out and 539 turns out for B. The special voting at the constituency saw personnel from the security services, ambulance service, some media persons and staff of the EC with covid 19 safety protocols strictly adhered to.

As part of the Dec. 7 general elections, the electoral commission scheduled December 1 for the special voting to kick off.
