‘I told you so’, Kennedy Agyapong on Amidu resignation

Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong said he warned the New Patriotic Party against Martin Amidu when he was being appointed as the Special Prosecutor but they refused to listen to him.

He made it known that Amidu was a wrong choice for the special Prosecutor position.

“Nobody should be scared or worried about Martin Amidu’s resignation if he has resigned so be it, he didn’t do any better work when in office.

“No wonder Mahama recently described him the way he did,” Kennedy Agyapong said this on the Net 2 TV Monday, November 16 ,few hours after the resignation of the Special Prosecutor.

According to the him, he said the resignation of Amidu- won’t affect the NPP in the December 7 election but he is disturbed that they refuse to listen to him when he told them that in a long run, Amidu will turn his back against them and he did so.

In his letter to the president, Amidu stated the reason to his resignation.
