The member of Parliament for the people of upper Denkyira East constituency has admonished Senior high students who were registered on campus but left to their various hometowns can use the online platforms to check the validity of their voter’s ID card.
It will be recalled that whilst on campus the government gave the order for qualified final year Senior high students to register from their various schools to prevent the spread of the deadly novel coronavirus.
Hon Nana Amoako further disclosed that his constituency has not encountered any anomalies in the ongoing voter’s exhibition exercise as compared to other constituencies.
Responding to claims by the NDC earlier today on AdoaTV’s morning show on the anomalies hon Nana Amoako disclosed that mistakes and anomalies are bound to happen hence the need for each and every Ghanaian citizen to check their names and rectify any challenges they encounter.
However, the director of I.T for the opposition National Democratic Congress Osei Kwame Griffiths accessing the situation said it is the most dangerous register ever acquired in the history of the country where two people can be issued with one personal identity number (PIN).
He however, disputed the fact that new ID cards were been issued for those having challenges with their cards explaining that when will they return to check if they still have challenges with the newly acquired card meanwhile we are left with few days to the December polls.
