Ghana Tennis Federation Begins Preparations towards Under-14 African Junior Championship in Togo

Ghana Tennis federation has started preparations at the Accra sports stadium towards the African Junior championship to be held in Togo, Lome this year.

Restrictions were lifted on Non contacts sports such as Golf, Tennis, Athletics, Badminton etc by President Nana Akufo Addo.

Speaking to Raphael Nii Nortey Dowuona an Under -14 national player for the Ghana Tennis federation he said his target is to be in the semi-final or final in other for him to qualify for the world championship in Tunisia.

He added that they were supposed to be in Benin in April for a championship but due to the Covid-19 the tournament couldn’t come on but he is confident he will perform in the upcoming African Junior Championship slated for this year.
