Abigail Nayram Tay a 21-year old graduate studying marketing at the University of Professional Studies Accra was crowned Queen for Miss Tourism Ghana 2020 during the Grand Finale held at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel, Accra.
Abigail Nayram Tay represented the Western Region with stage name Naya beat off 15 other contestants during the competition to emerge winner in the 11th edition.
Besides clinching the crown, she annexed four other awards including; Miss personality, Miss Eloquence, Miss fashion show, and Miss regional cook. Speaking to Courage Akosua Agrah of Adoa tv after the event, the new Queen said, she was going to embark on a massive campaign to promote domestic tourism likewise to encourage sustainable tourism.
Abigail Nayram Tay added that, she will empower the youth to open businesses in the tourism sector.
Currently in the tourism sector, Abigail Nayram will represent the country in other international pageants and tourism related shows with her other princesses; Jennifer Deku and Zainab Abdullaii 1st and second Runners-up respectively.
