The construction of the Jamestown fishing harbour was a project on the heart of many successive governments to enhance fishing and make it lucrative within the community.
Many sod cuttings were done by successive governments to bring the dream to light but has yielded no positive result.
Construction works have begun some weeks ago at the landing site for the fishing harbour.
In an interview with Mr Raymond Tettey, the sub-metro chairman of Ashiedu Keteke said the project is expected to be completed within two and half years.
Mr. Raymond Tettey says plans have also been made for proper sanitary at the new site where the Fisherfolks had been relocated to.
