Oko Boye and NPP intimidate NDC faithfuls in ledzokuku with armed military men

For Immediate Release

On Sunday July 19th 2020, a shameful, barbaric and disgusting incident happened on Ledzokuku.

This incident is the first of it’s kind in the history of Ledzokuku politics.

On that faithful Evening, the Humble, God-fearing and all-loving parliamentary candidate of the NDC in Ledzokuku was having a meeting with some elders of the land at his Filling station located at Anumantu.

Suddenly armed military men Entered the Filling station claiming that the NDC in ledzokuku were registering people there.

They searched the whole place and found nothing.

Residents and the good people of Teshie started trooping in.

The charge for justice and morale led by the NDC constituency women’s organiser Hajia Sherifatu Sulley resulted in a lot of resistance by the good people of Teshie.

The military men called for reinforcement.

The soldiers came fully armed, fired warning shots and terrorised the people.

The soldiers finally took the desktop computers from the office.

Some constituency executives in the person of the chairman, organiser, and secretary followed up to the central police station which led to the chairman Hon Joseph Adjei Mensah and organiser Hon James Narh being detained.

It must be placed on record that the people of Teshie have lived in harmony with the military all these years.

Only under the leadership of Dr Oko Boye as mp have we seen such incidence of violence.

We the NDC in Ledzokuku entreat all to register massively and keep calm.

The only way to resist these oppressors is to vote massively for JM and Ben Ayiku in the December Elections.
