The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has acquired 10 sets of referee gadgets for the Ghana Premier League.
The equipment which is manufactured by French company, Vokkero, was delivered to Harrison Addo at the GFA Headquarters in Prampram, Accra
This is to help Ghanaian referees who officiate in the Premier League as these communication gadgets are expected to aid effective communication during games in the Ghana premier league.
These communication gadgets will be used by all four match officials on match days across the nine League centers for effective communication.
Referees in the premier league are struggling with communication issues as this will be a welcome news for the referees who will be officiating in the top flight league
The gadgets will also be used to officiate the MTN FA Cup, the Women’s Premier League final and some interesting games in the Division One League.
The Premier League and other products of the Ghana Football Association are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
