Foreign ministry: Ghana expecting next phase of arrivals of stranded Ghanaians this month

Still on the evacuation of stranded Ghanaians abroad, Hon. Shirley Botchwey Minister for ForeignAffairs and Regional Integration has disclosed that the country is expecting the next phase of Ghanaians stranded abroad in the wake of covid-19.

The minister responding to a question gave further detailed outline of the list of Ghanaians from various countries by Charter flights during Parliament proceedings;

He also disclosed the phase 3 arrival of stranded Ghanaians into the country commencing from 17th June, 2020 also an assisted evacuation by KLM Charter Flights;

Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway hence iterated that these arrangements are subject to other requirements in the host countries, such as permits, overflight and landing clearance, which may result in changes in the scheduled dates of arrival.
