After a decade with Multimedia Group, Nana Yaa Brefo the host of Adom TV’s Badwam has resigned.
It is unclear what might have gingered Nana Yaa’s resignation but many are asserting she was forced to resign following an interview she did with Nana Ama Mcbrown on the sudden death of the Late Bishop Bernard Nyarko.
Many social media users described the interview as unprofessional and also called her line of questioning and behavior puerile.
Nana Yaa Brefo asked Mcbrown whether she had the late actor’s phone number and if she will attend his funeral.
Nana Yaa Brefo also announced her resignation from Multimedia saying “I now out of Multimedia to follow other dreams” she posted.
Although it is unclear why she resigned, he post also stated that “I want to say a very big thank you to Multimedia and my colleagues. Also want to thank my fans for the support, really appreciate also thank those who did not like me, you madw me grow during my 10years stay at Multimedia, (Adom TV), I bow out of Multimedia to follow other dreams. Thank you all for being there. Akpe.”
Interestingly no one has sofar brought up any great interviews the Presenter did in 10years, not even Multimedia.
Another surprisingly issue is that many presenters across the mainstream TV and radio stations have either resigned or sacked due to the further decline in media revenue caused by the Corona Virus Pandemic.
But as to why Nana Yaa Brefo resigned from Multimedia, we are yet to know
