Former Deputy Minister of Communication Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu has chastised on President Akuffo Addo’s intend construction of 88 hospitals across the country.
According to the former Minister, President Akuffo Addo and the NPP Government are being a nuisance to Ghanaians in constructing 88 hospitals while he fails to operationalize health projects undertaken by the Previous NDC Government.
Speaking on Citi tv Eyewitness news and monitored by Adoanewsonline.com, Mr. Kwakye indicated that, most Ghanaians are doubtful on the President’s Statements due to his own appalling record in contributing to health sectors.
“The fact remains that President Akufo-Addo has not shown enough commitment to investing capital in the health sector and even when they are presented with an opportunity to open up completed projects, they have failed and left Ghanaians in dire need.” He bemoaned.
However, responding to a press briefing by the Minister of Health Hon. Kwaku Manu on 28th April stating that some health projects were abandoned by the NDC Government even before the NPP Government assume office, Mr Kwakye indicated that, it is untrue that some health projects were abandoned by the Previous John Dramini’s Government.
