Liberia Football Association gives $4,200 cash grant to clubs amid COVID-19 crises

Liberia Football Association (LFA) have approved an amount of US$4,200 to be given to each club in the men’s first and second divisions and the women’s top division of the 2019/2020 season amid coronavirus crises.

The executive committee of the LFA reached a decision on Wednesday afternoon to pay each club as subvention in light of the coronavirus outbreak.

The prevalent spread of the deadly Corona Virus has seen almost all Football activities halted in the World as the fight against the pandemic continues.

With all football competitions suspended in Liberia, clubs are bent on facing financial difficulties along the way.

This encouraged the Liberia Football Association to approve the grant to aid the clubs until when football competitions resumes in the country.
