COVID 19 FIGHT: VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES TO BE SUPPLIED WITH FREE WATER FOR 3 MONTHS

In the wake of aiding the fight against the spread of covid 19, some vulnerable communities within affected restricted areas will be supplied with water for free for the next three months.

“Government will absorb the water bill for all Ghanaians for the next three months April, May and June. All water thankers public and private owners are also going to be mobilised to ensure the supply of water to all vulnerable communities “.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his address reiterated that delivery of dry food packages and hot meals have begun in Accra and will continue in other areas to support up to four-hundred thousand (400,000) individuals within vulnerable communities of affected areas.

The support is to encourage and help the needy cope in this time of difficulty.
