The Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) of Accra, Mohammed Adjei Sowah, has paid a visit to the family of the late Mrs Augustina Akuorkor Adechoe Obetsebi-Lamptey to sympathise with them.
Accompanying the MCE to the family house in Korle-Gonno was the Coordinating Director of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Metro Director of NADMO, representatives from the Ashieku Keteke sub metro and some other officials of the Assembly.
The late H.E. Mrs.Augustina Akuorkor Adechoe Obetsebi-Lamptey was the wife of the late Emmanuel Odarkwei Obetsebi-Lamptey a member of the big six and Ghana’s Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia in the Second Republic.
Her last official public appearance was at the sod-cutting ceremony for the construction of the Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo.
She was 96 years.
