The Minister of Inner-City and Zongo Development on behalf of Hon. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid has donated an amount of 2,400Ghc and 10,294Ghc respectively to Share Care Ghana, a Non-Governmental Organization.
The 10,294gh cedis will be used to pay one year rent of the organization and other things whilst 2400gh cedis will be used to pay 6 children school fees from the same organization.
The Ministry’s major task is to improve the livelihood of the people in inner-cities and Zongo communities in deprived areas.
In an interview, the Director for Social Service at Ministry of inner-city and Zongo development, Ms Amina Sammo, who spoke on behalf of the minister said, the donation is part of the social responsibility the ministry has undertaken since its inception.
According to her, other stakeholders can join the ministry to help support those in the deprived areas in the Zongo communities in the country.
The Director of Share Care Ghana Nana Yaa Agyeman thanked the ministry for the support they have shown to them when they called on them.
