Over 500 bags of cocoa have been locked up at Kojokrom in the Darmang Kojokrom electoral area of the Twifo Atti–Morkwa District in the Central region of Ghana.
The road network connecting Kojokrom has been left in its deplorable state making the road difficult to ply by motorists.
Millions of Ghana Cedis worth of cocoa are locked up due to the bad road which hinders transportation of the crop to various cocoa buying companies.
Farm produce is left to rot because farmers are unable to transport their products to the District capital.
Meanwhile, they added that the bad road network is not only affecting farmers but also health delivery in the area
They further called on government and stakeholders to come to their aid.
