NDC parliamentary primaries – 25 more constituencies to hold elections on October 19

The National Democratic Congress( NDC) is expected to hold parliamentary primaries on 19 October 2019 in 25 more constituencies.

 The elections will be held in four regions to elect candidates for next year’s general election.

The regions include Central, Eastern, Ashanti and the western region.

In the Eastern Region, elections will be conducted in seven constituencies; Achiase, Asene Manso Akroso, Ofoase Ayirebi, Akwatia, Akuapem South, Okere and New Juabeng South

In the Ashanti Region primaries will be held in 14 constituencies; which includes Fomena, Odotobri, Manhyia South, Nhyiaeso, Asokwa, Manhyia North, Tafo, Atwima Mponua, Atwima Kwanwoma, Afigya Kwabre South, Mampong, Manso Nkwanta, Suame and Kwadaso.

Central region: Efutu, Upper Denkyira West and Awutu-Senya East.

 Western region: Esikado Ketan.

The candidates, when elected, are expected to contest as parliamentary candidates on the ticket of the NDC.
