The Chief Executive Officer of Afro Arab who is also the President of Spartans Football club, A division 2 club, Salamu Amadu said he drew inspiration from ex-President John Dramani Mahama before naming the pitch Emirates.
“In my life, I draw inspiration from the former president, John Mahama, he calls the Kwame Nkrumah interchange ‘Dubai in Circle’ so I have also brought Emirates to Nima.”
CEO and President of Spartans Football club also stated that anytime People say that he cant achieve a particular feet he makes references to a video of the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo laughing…

Two U-12 community-based teams played against each other before a selected Nwankwo Kanu side lead by former Arsenal and Nigerian legend Kanu played against a selected Bright Addae team.
The game ended 11-11 in regular time and the selected Bright Addae side won 4-1 on penalties.
