President scraps off communication tax

President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo has cancelled the 9% communication service tax on mobile networks which took effect on Monday 1st October.

This change angered Ghanaians as they lambasted the Akufo-Addo led government for disappointing Ghanaians.

The same day the PURC also announced the increment in utility bills which also infuriated Ghanaians the more.

However, amid the severe criticisms meted out on President Akufo-Addo, he has finally cancelled the 9% charges on the TELECOMS.
