The National President for Ghana Private Schools Association, Rev William Baako has stated emphatically that, the President Nana Addo made a big mistake for appointing a medical practitioner who has no knowledge in education to be the education minister.
According to Rev Baako, Hon Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is not fit to handle the educational sector hence, his abysmal performance.
Commenting on the much talked comprehensive sexuality education which has generated a lot of debate among Ghanaians religious groups and CSOs Rev has called on the government to exclude CSE from the curriculum.
Earlier this week, government through the education ministry denied the inclusion of CSE in Ghana’s educational curriculum
But Mr Bakoo has stated revealed that CSE has already been introduced and that education minister was not being frank with Ghanaians.
In a move to reject the comprehensive sexuality education, Rev. Baako has revealed that their association will embark on a nationwide demonstration next week Monday to send a strong signal to the government that ghana does not need comprehensive sexuality education.
Rev. William Baako made this known when he spoke with DarlingFm 90.9 in Cape Coast.
