Ex-President, Flt. Lt Jerry John Rawlings has directed the National Democratic Congress party (NDC) to lace its boot for the 2024 general elections instead of 2020.
According to him, the party is not prepared enough to wrestle power from the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2020, as there were lapses.
The founder of the NDC said the party needed more time to solve its internal challenges and as well as structure its campaign policies.
Ex-President Rawlings made the call at a cadres meeting of the NDC in Kumasi at Anita hotel over the weekend.
The meeting brought together known NDC cadres such as Goosie Tandoh, Prof. Joshua Alarbi and many others drawn from all the 16 regions in the country.
