President Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo has disclosed that mobile phone subscribers had reached 41 million.
According to him, Ghana as a developing country was advancing in technology, as mobile phones users had increased, compared to some 20 years ago.
President Akuffo-Addo made the disclosure on Wednesday, September 25, at the 74th United Nations General Assembly.
Technology, he said, had today bridged the gap between the poor and the rich, adding that,” the poorest person in inaccessible place could now access a mobile phone.”
