Mauro Icardi has completed a sensational deadline day move to Paris Saint-Germain from Inter Milan.
Striker Icardi will initially join PSG on a long season loan but the Ligue 1 champions will have the option to make the deal permanent for 70million euros next summer.
Argentine international Icardi fell out with Inter Milan manager Spelleti then after being stripped of the captaincy in February but had to agree to a contract extension until 2022 with the Italian club before the deal was completed.
“I’d like to thank Paris Saint-Germain for the confidence they have shown in me,” said Icardi, who will wear the No.18 shirt at the Parc des Princes.
“I will give everything to help my new team go as far as possible in all competitions. Paris Saint-Germain has become an international football powerhouse, attracting some of the greatest players in recent years.
