IMPACT OF THE BAN ON ALCOHOL ADVERTISEMENT – FDA

The food and drugs Authority in January 2018 banned the Advertisement of beverages containing alcohol in the country in other to reduce its intake.

This is an adherence to a World Health Organization(WHO), the policy as Alcohol has become rampant over the last few years and has flooded both radio and television.

The phenomenon has lured both young and old into Alcoholism and has become a cause for alarm among the public.
