The Criminal Investigative Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has found lifeless bodies in a manhole, suspected to be that of the three kidnapped Takoradi girls .
A report sighted by Adoanewsonline, on Friday, August 2, 2019, indicated that the human remains were retrieved from a septic tank at the residence of one of the suspects.
Sources at the CID Headquarters has disclosed that an official statement would soon be issued a forensic audit to ascertain if the bodies are indeed that of the kidnapped girls.
The three girls, Ruthlove Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie went missing between August and December 2018.
Two suspects, both Nigerians are currently facing trial for their alleged involvement in the crime.
The main suspect in the kidnapping, Sam Udoetuk Wills, has already been sentenced to 18 months imprisonment for escaping from cells in December 2018 following his arrest.
