This morning the Constituency Chairman, Mr Ben Ayiku called me to inform me of the sod-cutting ceremony for the proposed Ledzokuku NDC Constituency Office and also to invite me to the event.
I received the news with great excitement. A Constituency Office for Ledzokuku NDC is a step in the right direction and I wholly welcome it.
As a Constituency, we have tried in the past to have a permanent office built for the Party in Ledzokuku with the last effort being the one I initiated at my mum’s residence during my tenure as MP.
Now with the availability of a parcel of land to the Party, the building of our Constituency Office could not have come at a better time.
For my initial support, I will contribute 1000 cement blocks and 100 bags of Cement towards the building. As the building progresses, I will see what further support I can offer to make the dream a reality in the shortest possible time.
I am really happy about this development and humbly appeal to all members and sympathizers of the NDC to fully support this initiative. We should all get involved to get the project duly completed.
