The Minister of Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs is leading the first batch of 80 Christian and traditional pilgrims to the holy sites of Israel, with the aim of strengthening their faith.
The Israel Pilgrimage was the third after the Ministry successfully facilitated a maiden pilgrimage last two years.
Mr Dzamesi said his Ministry is committed to ensuring the meditation of the religious bodies that no one’s right will be infringed during the exercise of one’s faith.
He added that the pilgrims are expected to visit various historical sites identified in the Bible.
Samuel Kofi Ahiave Dzamesi urged the Christian Pilgrims to comport themselves and focus on praying for the nation as they do for themselves always and cautioned them not to run away during their two weeks visit to Israel.
