Ghana’s President has set off to the USA and Cuba to begin his nine days’ visit. This trip is to honor invitations extended to him.
He is scheduled to deliver speeches at the Harvard University, University of Chicago, Institute of Politics situated in the USA.
As part of his visit, He will discuss investment opportunities in Ghana at the Chicago council on Global Affairs.
President Nana Addo Dankwa will meet the former chief of staff to former President Obama who is now the current mayor of Chicago.
Ghana’s president went with some ministers and some officials from the presidency; The minister of Foreign Affairs, Hon. Shirley Ayorkor Botchway, The member of Parliament for Dormaa central and the minister of health, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman Manu and the honorable minster for education, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh.
Until 6th April 2019 when the president and his officials shall return to Ghana, the Vice president of the republic of Ghana, Dr Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia will serve in lieu of the President just as the constitution of Ghana says.
